Understanding speech & language care
Speech and language therapy helps people understand others, express themselves clearly and communicate with confidence. It can make a real difference at every age, from a toddler who is late to talk to an adult recovering speech after illness or injury.
Therapy begins with a clear assessment so goals and methods are matched to the individual. Parents and caregivers are guided on how to support progress between sessions, so improvement carries into everyday life.

Common questions
Still unsure? Send your question on WhatsApp and the team will guide you.
When should a child be assessed for speech delay?
If a child is not using single words by around 18 months, is hard for family to understand by age 3, or you have any concern about speech or understanding, an assessment is a good first step.
Do you see adults as well as children?
Yes. Therapy is available for adults with stammering, voice difficulties or communication problems after illness or injury.
How many sessions will be needed?
It depends on the concern and the goals. A plan with expected session frequency is shared after the first assessment and reviewed as progress is made.
Can I share questions or videos on WhatsApp first?
Yes. You may share a short description or a video so the team can guide preparation. A proper assessment still requires a session with the therapist.
